BREATH OF FRESH GRACE

When you can’t catch a break…

DISCOVERING DESTINY.

Overcoming Darkness.

How are you overcoming too little breathing room? Let’s journey together!

Even without masks in the mix, the pandemic hasn’t given us many chances to catch our breath.

Whether it’s the frenzy of fighting fire after unexpected fire or the sheer frustration of so many months without respite, it can get downright suffocating.

But through the eye of this very long and seemingly never-ending storm, God is giving us an incredible opportunity to strengthen our spiritual arsenal, and one of the most powerful gifts He is helping us develop is the gift of grace.

In just under 14 months, we have all faced more plans falling through, more last-minute mayhem, and more major crises — both day-to-day and long-term — than most of us have faced in the last 40.

To say communication is a struggle is an incredible understatement. To say it has been stressful is an incredible understatement. And to say we have all been stretched thin is an incredible understatement.

Yet somehow, we have found a way to make it work well enough to get us here today, keeping on foot in front of the other.

Most of all, we have learned to bear, not only with all of these trials, but with each other as well.

When communication gets strained, and we start to get snappy and stressed, we have learned to forgive and forget, understanding we are all in this together.

When a need has come up among our coworkers, neighbors, or church family, we have risen to meet it.

When we have been pushed past our limits, we have still found a way to push forward.

And even if you feel like nothing could possibly make up for all that you have been through over the last year, I’m here to tell you the God of infinite power and goodness has set no limits on the amount of grace he is ready to pour into you at any hour of any day.

And when we let that life-giving spirit fill our embattled souls like a long-awaited breath of fresh air, there will be no distance we cannot travel or challenge we cannot overcome.

So let the loving spirit that formed you and lives in you today continue to be the wind in your sails, no matter how many waves may come.

And by making a habit of seeking our guiding light through this long season of night, we will come through stronger, better, and — dare I say — even more joyful than we could have ever imagined possible.

YOUR TURN!

Don’t make me do all the talking – I’d love to hear from you!

  • Where has God been pouring his grace into you lately?
  • Do you want to hear about anything else? Any prayer requests?

Just shoot me an email – don’t be shy! And I promise to reply!
